Cahan Tobacco International showcased its “Made in Azerbaijan” products at InterTabac 2025, attracting strong international interest and starting initial partnership talks.
From September 18–20, “Cahan Tobacco International” participated for the third time in “InterTabac 2025,” one of the world’s largest tobacco exhibitions, held in Dortmund, Germany. The company showcased its locally produced cigarettes under the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand, attracting great interest from both visitors and exporters. At this year’s exhibition, partners from various markets—including Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, the UAE, Ukraine, Poland, the USA, Serbia, and Mongolia—expressed particular interest in the company’s products. Initial negotiations in this direction have already begun. As “Cahan Tobacco International,” we will continue to actively participate in international exhibitions, strengthen our export potential, increase the inflow of foreign currency to the country, and proudly represent our nation in global markets under the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand.

The timely cutting of the tobacco leaf can be considered one of the most important points in its proper use as a raw material for cigarettes. Thus, the quality of cigarettes directly depends on the timely collecting and proper curing of tobacco leaves.
For the third time, Cahan Tobacco International participated in the "InterFood" exhibition, which is one of the most important meeting places for leading manufacturers of food, tobacco and other food products from more than 20 countries of the world.
Tobacco production plays significant role in industry, especially in agriculture. In the Nakhchivan AR, tobacco planting areas are expanding from year to year, which contributes to the development of the tobacco industry in Azerbaijan.
"InterTabac" is an exhibition that presents the world's largest tobacco companies, more than 500 tobacco companies from all over the world participated in the "InterTabac" exhibition this year.
Tobacco Agronomy Center owned by CTI has begun to grow tobacco in the Nakhchivan AR in 2017, based on the State Program for the Development of Tobacco Production in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2017-2021 approved by President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
