Chairman of Ajara AR Government of Georgia Zurab Pataradze visited Cahan Tobacco International
Chairman of Ajara AR Government visited Nakhchivan
Chairman of the Government of Autonomous Republic of Adjara of Georgia Zurab Pataradze has paid one day working visit to Nakchivan Autonomous Republic on June 27th. Zurab Pataradze met with the chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Vasif Talibov.

At the same day Zurab Pataradze visited industrial and production facilities of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. He also was at Cahan Tobacco International and the company was introduced to Mr. Pataradze. He was informed that the production capacity of the facility is 3,000 sticks per minute. While the usage of high quality raw materials, as well as latest technology are eniugh to meet local demand, at the same time it enables export opportunities. The representatives of Cahan Tobacco also noted that the company is paying attention to meet the demand with local tobacco farming and production as well. The foundation of Tobacco Farming Center in Kengerli district by CTI is also brought to the attention of Zurab Pataradze which is intended to increase local production.

"InterTabac" is an exhibition that presents the world's largest tobacco companies, more than 500 tobacco companies from all over the world participated in the "InterTabac" exhibition this year.
Tobacco Agronomy Center owned by CTI has begun to grow tobacco in the Nakhchivan AR in 2017, based on the State Program for the Development of Tobacco Production in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2017-2021 approved by President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
